Privacy policy

EZTRONIX is point-of-sale software for retail in Pakistan: bookshops, grocery, FMCG, and general shops. This page explains what we collect, why we need it, and what we refuse to do with it.

Last updated 6 July 2026

At a glance

  • We run your cloud account, registers, stock, sales, and reports. That means we process the business data you put into the system.
  • We do not sell your shop data or your customer lists to advertisers.
  • Card payments on the counter are recorded as cash, card, or split amounts. We do not store full card numbers in EZTRONIX.
  • Cloud billing is handled manually in PKR (bank transfer, JazzCash, Raast). We do not pull money from your card automatically in the app today.
  • You can ask us questions or request changes by messaging us on WhatsApp.

Who we are

EZTRONIX provides software for retailers in Pakistan: web POS, cloud dashboard, optional offline desktop registers, multi-store reporting, and related tools. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means EZTRONIX as the provider of that software.

What we collect

Grouped by how you use EZTRONIX. If you do not use a feature, we do not collect that part.

Account and login

When you sign up or your administrator creates a user.

  • Full name and username
  • Password (stored in encrypted form, never in plain text)
  • Profile details you choose to add, such as an avatar
  • Login sessions and security events to keep the account safe

Your business and subscription

The organisation you run on EZTRONIX.

  • Business name and store URL slug
  • Subscription plan, trial dates, billing status, and payment history we record manually
  • Setup and onboarding notes kept by our ops team when you purchase Professional or higher tiers
  • Internal support and billing notes written by EZTRONIX staff to help your account

Stores, registers, and catalog

How your shop is set up in the product.

  • Store names, addresses, and phone numbers you enter
  • Registers, tax settings, receipt design, and shift rules
  • Products, variants, barcodes, categories, prices, and stock levels
  • Label printer settings and inventory adjustments

Sales and operations

What happens every day on the counter.

  • Sales receipts, line items, discounts, tax, and payment method (cash, card, other, or split)
  • Returns, refunds, exchanges, and store credit where you use those features
  • Shift open and close records, cash movements, and Z-style reports
  • Which cashier ran each sale and on which register

Customers and loyalty

Data your staff enters about buyers.

  • Customer name, phone, and email if you choose to save them
  • Loyalty points balance and redemption history
  • You decide what to collect at the till. EZTRONIX stores it on your behalf so you can serve repeat customers.

Staff access

Who can open which parts of the app.

  • Role per user: owner, admin, manager, or cashier
  • Which stores and registers each person can access
  • Activity needed to enforce permissions and audit sensitive actions

Desktop app and offline use

If you use the offline desktop register.

  • A device label, installation identifier, and app version when you bind a PC to a register
  • Last seen time so we know the desktop client is active
  • Sales made offline are held on the device until sync, then stored in your cloud account like any other sale

AI stock advisor

On Professional and higher plans when you run it.

  • Sales history, stock levels, and category mix for the store and date range you pick
  • Budget and cover days you enter for a buying plan
  • Generated recommendations we cache so you do not wait twice for the same scenario

Support and notifications

When you contact us or turn alerts on.

  • Support ticket subject, messages, and who wrote them
  • Push notification tokens only if you enable browser or device alerts in settings
  • Notification preferences such as low stock or daily sales digest
  • Short-lived support access to your organisation when you agree to let EZTRONIX staff help on a live issue

How we use your information

  • Run the POS, sync offline sales, print receipts, and show reports you ask for
  • Authenticate users, enforce roles, and protect accounts from abuse
  • Bill your subscription, run trials, and answer billing questions
  • Provide support, fix bugs, and improve reliability of the service
  • Send service messages and optional alerts you turn on (not ads)
  • Generate AI reorder suggestions when you use the stock advisor feature

Who we share data with

  • EZTRONIX employees and contractors who need access to operate, support, or bill your account. Access is limited by role.
  • Infrastructure providers that host the application, deliver login emails, or send push notifications you enable. They process data only to provide those services to us.
  • Authorities or courts if the law requires it and we believe the request is valid.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your sales, stock, or customer lists to data brokers or ad networks.

Your customers are your responsibility

If you save a buyer's name or phone number in EZTRONIX, you are usually the business that collected it at the till. You should tell your customers what you keep and why, and only collect what you need. We act as a service provider storing that information so your shop can run loyalty, receipts, and history. If a customer asks you to delete their record, you can remove or update it in the app, or contact us if you need help.

Desktop licence vs cloud account

The one-time desktop licence runs on your own PC. Day-to-day sales data still belongs to your business. If you sync to a cloud account, that data is stored there under this policy. If you run fully offline without sync, data stays on your machine until you choose to connect. Optional desktop support does not give us access to your PC unless you ask for remote help and agree at that moment.

What we do not do

  • Sell your customer phone numbers to marketers
  • Run Facebook or Google ad pixels inside your POS
  • Use your sales history to target your shoppers with third-party ads
  • Store full payment card numbers or CVV codes
  • Give your competitors access to your data

Security

  • Connections to the web app use encryption in transit (HTTPS).
  • Passwords are hashed. Staff should not share logins.
  • Roles limit what each user can see: a cashier should not reach owner-only settings.
  • We monitor for abuse and may suspend accounts that put other customers at risk.
  • No system is perfect. If you suspect unauthorised access, change passwords and contact us immediately.

How long we keep data

  • Account and business data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after closure so you can export or resolve billing.
  • Sales and inventory history for as long as your account exists, because that is your shop's books.
  • Support tickets and ops notes long enough to handle follow-ups and disputes.
  • Technical logs for a limited time for security and debugging.
  • You may request deletion of your organisation account. Some records may be kept where the law requires invoices or tax evidence.

Your choices and rights

  • Update profile, business name, and many settings directly in the app.
  • Export or review sales and reports from your dashboard.
  • Ask us what we hold about your account or request correction by contacting us.
  • Ask us to delete your account where we can do so legally. Deletion is permanent for cloud data you do not export first.
  • Control optional cookies and browser storage from the cookie banner or footer.
  • Turn push notifications off in settings or in your browser.

Children

EZTRONIX is business software for shops. It is not aimed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when we ship new features or when laws change. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Important changes may also be mentioned in the app or by email to account owners. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
